After 5 years the Warriors of Slauria resin figure line....IS BACK. Enter: The Savage Swamps!

Yes after 5 long years the Warriors of Slauria have returned! It has been a looong road to get to this point over the years. Between 2014 and 2017 I legitimately never thought I would make anything resin again. I actually switched gears to plushie making as I have always enjoyed working with fabric and it can be a great medium to create with, but that did not pan out either.

Fast forward to mid-April of this year when one Gabriel Barragan contacted me about a resin ship I had made years ago.

After Part 3 of Ambush on Mt Nuhoopshar went live yesterday, I figured a good way to start this ball rolling would be with Bios for the characters who took centerstage in these first 3 episodes.

We interupt Alien Mercs Monday with a Special Presentation!!

Wait- what?? Yes this week and for the next four weeks during shooting for Episodes 5-through-8 of Alien Mercenaries Return, I am showing you all another photo comic that's roots tie deeply into the lore and backstory of Alien Mercenaries: "Comm. Grott & the Pru'tarran Criminal Catchers"!

Something has been spotted in the swamps of planet Slauria...

"The swamps of Slauria. To all who enter: tread carefully, you know not what lies within. Many a foolish explorer has dared enter the swamps only to become hopelessly lost within it's boundaries. Or found as a raving lunatic rambling about mushrooms, glowing eyes and large scaley beings. This can be considered a fate far worse then merely being lost, for you may eventually be found...but madness...few seldom come back from that.."

Alien 'Mercs Monday continues with a Lost Episode from Season Two!!

This week while I prepare to shoot the BIG fight scene for Alien Mercenaries Return Episode 5, I am putting up a small 7-panel episode that I litterally just found about a week or two ago.

When I do photo shoots for Alien Mercenaries episodes, I take as many shots as I can because I never know which angles will look best or allow for the placment of dialgoue bubbles without blocking the characters. This means I may shoot 30 pictures for an episode and only use 15 or so. It all varies depending on the pacing of the story and such.
