Ahl'eyez the Seer, Fabric Fighter plush (Standard Colorway)

Fabric Fighterz are plush toys made out of artwork printed onto cotton fabric, sewn together and stuffed. The main concept behind this line is just because it's fabric, doesn't mean it can't still be fun. If you grew up with Wrestling Buddies, went on adventures into your backyard with your stuffed animals or just got on the ground and had fun with your toys- then this line is for you. 

Every Fabric Fighterz toy is hand made by me, Christopher Negri, with a sewing machine and printed onto fabric by the fine folks over at Spoonflower.com. Stuffed with Poly-Fil, these toys have limitless applications only limited by your own imagination. 

This guy is based on concept art drawn by Matt Doughty back in 2009 when he was working on a toyline with Matt Walker. The line was called "Cosmic Squadron" and Matt had drawn up 15 different heads for possible new characters. They never made it past this art (as far as I'm aware).

As Ikrohn the Tracker and Dohrmun the Hunter sold well, I wanted to continue bringing these cool looking Matt Doughty robots to life.

This one had a very 70's scifi robot vibe to it and the colors Matt used to draw it just hammer that home. I wanted to bring those details down onto it's body and as it appeared to have 4 pairs of eyes, I made eyes on it's chest as well. Then I thought about putting eyes on the backside of it, imagining that Ahl'eyez can see around itself and that's where the name "Ahl'eyez" originated from. The arm cannon is based off of early Phase Arm concept art, when it didn't resemble the final production phase arm at all.
