Abilities: After he was injured by a Lavarrian his innate ston’emm ability to reform from damage was crippled thus preventing him from rebuilding his arm. As he’s made of gold ore, he’s a dense, heavy ston’emm and he uses his added density to his advantage in battle.
Bio: During the L.R.I. War, My’diss got into close combat with a Lavarrian and lost his right arm and had a hand-print melted into his chest. Despite his disability, he continued to remain active in the ston’emm military & trained thousands of new ston’emm soldiers over the centuries. When the war with the Armovor began, Bohl’darr of Slate used Glyan technology to build My’diss a cybernetic arm to ready him for this new foe. He used a Hub unit to create the arm, and left the unit’s A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) intact to provide up-to-date information to My’diss while in the field.
NYCC 2012 Ston'emms Release:
In this gallery you will see all 39 different Ston'emm figures cast by Jeremy Sung of Spy Monkey Creations for the first Ston'emms release at NYCC 2012. Jeremy also designed and sculpted the crystalline brains/eyes for all the light-piped Ston'emms.
Just about every Ston'emm also had their teeth, toes and back crystals painted by my wife Beth Negri and each came in a baggie with a header card stapled to it digitally designed by me (Chris Negri). The back of each header card also had the name and number of the Ston'emm enclosed in the baggie.
UPDATE- 9/4/2021: Added some more photos of the Ston'emms made from this release in addition to some behind-the-scenes photos taken by Jeremy Sung of Spy Monkey Creations of the raw castings! These photos had been lost to time on our Photobucket account and over on the old Blogspot blog, so this is the first time in 9 years they have been made available to look at.
