"After an epic battle, Splitfayce was killed and torn apart. Through mad science and a little luck the Alpha Male Canne'boid Baron Ivan Von Boid'ochevski created his first successful Canne'Stein. Later on this process would be perfected but when Splitfayce was created it was still very new and untested. His injuries were not as severe as the other members of his pack so only the right side of his place needed replacing. Thick staples hold his skull together and their mutated genes must be what is keeping this monstrous beast alive. Rebelling against the good Baron, Splitfayce escaped into the wilderness to live out the rest of his days. Now, he warns travelers of the Baron's Keep where he saved his life. Seems since then, the Baron has been using whatever he can find for his experiments and he's always looking for spare parts..."
